FreeRider returns to REHACARE with Luggie Daily and Luggie Park Pro

Luggie Daily combines everyday comfort and confidence with signature Luggie portability, while Luggie Park Pro is engineered for rental and fleet operations.
DÜSSELDORF, Germany — September 23, 2026 — Taiwan-based FreeRider, creator of the original Luggie and a regular REHACARE exhibitor for many years, returns in 2026 with two new mobility scooters: Luggie Daily, created for personal everyday mobility, and Luggie Park Pro, developed for rental and fleet operators.
Visitors can experience both models at REHACARE 2026, September 23–26, at Booth 5G21.

Portable should mean more than lightweight

Over the past several years, portable mobility has increasingly been defined by a race to reduce weight and purchase price. FreeRider took a different view: portability matters only when a scooter remains comfortable, dependable and supportable through the realities of daily use.
While new brands and lightweight models entered the category at speed, FreeRider continued engineering in Taiwan—drawing on decades of mobility experience to develop a scooter intended not simply to be lifted occasionally, but to be driven, folded, transported and relied upon every day.
Luggie Daily is the result: a portable scooter with the solid feel, adaptable comfort and serviceable construction expected from a true everyday mobility product.

Everyday confidence. Portable freedom.

Luggie Daily is designed to close the gap between everyday and travel mobility scooters. It feels solid, stable and comfortable like a scooter intended for daily use, while remaining nimble, portable and enjoyable to drive.
The full frame is crafted from a durable, corrosion resistant, aluminium alloy and is engineered for repeated everyday use. Front-and-rear suspension helps dampen vibrations, while Smart Steering Control automatically reduces speed through sudden sharp turns for a more composed driving experience.
Together, these features create one of the most complete combinations of comfort, stability and portability in the four-wheel portable category.

Comfort that adapts to the rider

Daily brings unusually generous space and adjustability to a portable scooter.
Its large footboard provides more room for taller riders, different leg positions and greater freedom of movement. The removable seat offers three height settings, while the tiller adjusts in both height and angle.
This flexibility helps riders across a wider range of heights, body proportions, reach and dexterity needs find a comfortable driving position. The tiller can also be repositioned quickly when getting on, getting off or preparing the scooter for transport.

Portable in the signature Luggie way

Removing the seat separates Daily into two transportable sections. The main section can then be loaded using Luggie’s signature ramp-style technique: lift the front into the car boot using a convenient front carry handle, and guide the scooter inward rather than lifting the entire scooter at once.
Quick folding and release mechanisms are engineered for reliable operation, journey after journey. Rear trolley wheels make the folded scooter easier to roll, position and store.

Designed to keep moving

Daily’s serviceability is another standout upgrade. Key electrical components are brought together beneath an accessible top console, while the 10.5Ah lithium battery is protected beneath a lift-up footboard cover.
A simplified electromechanical design supports quicker access and more straightforward servicing in the rare event that attention is required.
Yellow, sage green, light blue and pearl-white finishes give riders the freedom to choose a scooter that reflects their personality as well as their mobility needs.
Luggie Daily represents FreeRider’s vision for the future of portable mobility: day-to-day function, dependable engineering and individual expression brought together in one scooter.

Luggie Park Pro: built for rental operations

FreeRider will also introduce Luggie Park Pro, engineered specifically for rental companies, visitor attractions, hospitality businesses and mobility fleets.
Park Pro combines a 400-lb weight capacity, front-and-rear suspension and a compact 18.7-inch-wide chassis with a focus on uptime, reliability, accessible servicing and dependable spare-parts support.
While Daily is designed around its individual owner, Park Pro is built around the operational demands of serving different riders, every day.
